Aceda DonationAceda has a mission statement; to assist all South Australians effected by panic and anxiety, obsessive and compulsive, and eating disorders, and their supporters through education, information, support and advocacy.
Our vision is recovery understanding, acceptance and inclusion. Our values are client centred, recovery focused and embrace lived experience with disorders.
Our support team understands the issues surrounding all aspects of these disorders, with their own lived experience or close relationship with others with lived experience. We provide non-clinical face-to-face and telephone support, self-help and support groups, as well as individual and systemic advocacy.

Through the donations received we are able to provide support groups and one-to-one counselling in Noarlunga & Modbury. These are lifelines for people seeking support.

Foundation Shine donation to MIFSA
MIFSA DonationMIFSA provides a broad range of mental health programs, including Counselling which assists people to assume greater control and influence in living fulfilling lives. Peter Bartram, MIFSA Counsellor, who spoke about his counselling role at the Moulin Rouge fundraiser, is not pictured as MIFSA is only funded for a couple of days a week to provide a counselling service.
MIFSA is able to extend the amount of counselling sessions for people affected by mental illness (consumers and carers) by supplementing the government grant with MIFSA’s own funds which are supported by the fundraising work of Foundation Shine and their wonderful supporters.
